Luis dos Santos Luz , (born November 29, 1909 or January 26, 1909 in Porto Alegre , RS ; † August 27, 1989 ibid), was a Brazilian football player .

Career

society

At club level he was at least 1928 active at Americano-RS, where he won the Campeonato Gaucho . In 1934 he was listed by the RSSSF under the name Luis Luz as a player of Club Atlético Peñarol . However, he was not part of the core team that year. Another club during his career was Gremio Porto Alegre . With Gremio, Luz won the city ​​championship of Porto Alegre in 1937, 1938 and 1939 .

National team

Luz was a member of the Brazilian senior team and took part in the 1934 World Cup with them. There he made his debut in the Seleção on May 27, 1934 in the 1: 3 defeat against Spain. This was his only World Cup tournament appearance. In that year he completed another official international friendly against the selection of Yugoslavia and was also used in seven other unofficial internationals.
