Luakapa (also: Lua Kaba ) is an uninhabited island in the Tongan archipelago of Vavaʻu .

geography

Luakapa forms the northern edge of the bay in which the islands' Oto and A'a are located. Luakapa, as the name suggests, is itself an offshoot of Kapa Island in the center of Vavaʻu.

climate

The climate is tropical hot, but is tempered by constantly blowing winds. Like the other islands of the Vava'u group, Luakapa is occasionally hit by cyclones .
