The Lubeca Lübeck marzipan factory v. Minden & Bruhns GmbH & Co KG is the leading manufacturer of Lübeck marzipan and nougat masses , chocolate couvertures and hazelnut and almond preparations as semi-finished products for further processing.

The company operates worldwide and supplies confectioners and bakers, chocolatiers, pastry chefs and companies in the confectionery and baked goods industry in over 40 countries around the world. Besides Martens, Lubeca is the only manufacturer of Lübeck marzipan as a raw paste . The marzipan is still finely rolled in granite mills, following a tradition that goes back over 100 years, and roasted in open, rotating copper roasting kettles. Lübeck Marzipan is a geographical designation of origin protected under EU law .

history

The Lubeca Lübeck marzipan factory was founded on May 1st, 1904 and today belongs to the Friedrich Bluhme and Else Jebsen Foundation. The aim of the foundation is to exclusively and directly promote charitable, non-profit, church and cultural issues in the Lübeck region with the income it receives from the foundation's assets.
