Lubiniezky is an impact crater in the southwest of the lunar front on the northwestern edge of Mare Nubium , northwest of the Bullialdus crater . The crater is largely flooded by the lavas of the Mare , so that only a remnant of the crater rim is visible.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Polish astronomer Stanislaus Lubienietzki .
