Lucélia Santos (* 20th May 1957 in Santo André , São Paulo as Maria Lucélia dos Santos ) is a Brazilian actress .

Life

Santos only played supporting roles in a few small series until she became an international star at the age of 19 with the lead role in the telenovela Die Sklavin Isaura . She was the first western actress on Chinese television. Even today, the only 1.55 m tall Santos in China is one of the most popular actresses and cultural representatives of the state of Brazil for China. In 1980 and 1981, Santos undressed for the Brazilian playboy .

Private

Santos was married to the Brazilian film composer John Neschling and is the mother of the Brazilian actor Pedro Neschling (* 1982). Her sister Cristina Santos and her parents Maurílio Simões dos Santos and Maria Moura are also actors.
