Luc-Julien-Joseph Casabianca (born February 7, 1762 in Vescovato, Corsica , † August 1, 1798 near Abukir), also known as Louis de Casabianca, was an officer in the French Navy.

Casabiance attended military school from June 1775 and joined the Navy in July 1778. He served in Admiral De Grasse's fleet and took part in several major French naval battles.

In 1786 he was made naval lieutenant and appointed representative for Corsica during the French Convention in September 1782. He was one of the Jacobins , but was considered moderate. Among other things, he advocated Louis XVI. continue to be held in custody and not beheaded.

He participated in the reorganization of the French Navy and served as a division commander. During the Egyptian expedition led by Napoleon Bonaparte , he served the French Admiral Brueys as captain of the flagship L'Orient .
