Luca Manfredi

Luca Manfredi (born December 27, 1958 in Rome ) is an Italian television director and screenwriter .

Life

The actor's son Nino Manfredi attended a natural science high school and specialized in advertising technology at the “Istituto europeo di Design”. He photographed and staged numerous spots for the RPA , the best known of which were around eighty for Lavazza , in which his father played. In 1987 he worked with Luciano Emmer on a feature film episode for Spessi and worked temporarily for the theater. He staged Viva gli sposi at the “Eliseo” in the Italian capital .

In 1993 he directed a short film for the cinema that was shown as part of Ottantametriquadri and some episodes of the Un commissario a Roma series for television . With Grazie di tutto he presented his full-length cinema debut, which was quite commercially successful. A successful television career followed with handsomely budgeted works.

Manfredi wrote the screenplay for the successful television series Under the African Sun.
