Senrab FC

The senrab f.c. is an amateur youth football club from the Forest Gate in London Borough of Newham . In the club from the East End of London , mainly children from so-called problem areas play. There are currently around 15 teams made up of children and young people between the ages of 5 and 17.

About 150 former players of the club, according to the club's own statements, then made the leap into professional football. Some former Senrab FC coaches also later became professional football coaches.

The most famous players who played in the famous Academy of Football in their youth include John Terry , Sol Campbell , Fitz Hall , Jermain Defoe , Jlloyd Samuel , Ray Wilkins , Bobby Zamora and Ledley King . Later professional coaches were Dario Gradi and Ray Lewington . In April 2011, the former Senrab player John Terry is said to have donated an undisclosed amount to the club so that it could continue. Despite the successful player training, the club is still in a financially precarious position due to the costs for player equipment and court fees with only low membership fees.

designation

The club got its name from Senrab Street in Stepney . Senrab Street is near Barnes Street and is the backwards spelled form of Barnes.
