Luca Sportelli

Luca Sportelli (born March 11, 1927 in Bari , † August 29, 1999 in Rome ) was an Italian actor .

Life

Sportelli began as an actor in Avanspettacolo (a kind of vaudeville cabaret revue sketch combination) and in Revue addition to Erminio Macario , but also appeared in plays like Il gattopardo with director Franco Enriquez and Ma non c'è una cosa seria under Edmo Fenoglio on . After occasional engagements in the cinema he played regularly since 1967, often small roles in crude-comic films, where his stocky stature with a round, plump face and pronounced bald head predestined him to be a victim of the main actor. He later appeared in crime films and sexy comedies.
