Lucas Morales , full name Lucas Elías Morales Villalba , (born February 14, 1994 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall defensive player Morales has been part of the squad of the Uruguayan first division club Defensor Sporting , from whose junior team he emerged, since at least the Apertura 2013 . In the 2013/14 season he made eleven appearances (no goal) in the Primera División until the end of the 2014 Clausura . In addition, Morales was used once (no goal) in the 2014 Copa Libertadores . In the 2014/15 season he was used 15 times (one goal) in the top Uruguayan league. There were no further league appearances in Apertura 2015. In early February 2016, he was loaned to the Montevideo Wanderers within the league , for which he played a first division game (no goal) in the 2016 Clausura. In the 2016 season he was used twice (no goal) in the league and once (no goal) in the Copa Sudamericana 2016 . In the current 2017 season, another first division appearance (no goal) followed (as of February 12, 2017).

National team

On May 19, 2015 he was nominated by coach Fabián Coito for the provisional squad of the U-22, which competed in July 2015 at the Pan American Games 2015 in Toronto .
