from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Lucca eyes are with tartar , caviar and oysters occupied slices of bread . They were invented by a chef at the Berlin Hotel Kempinski in honor of Pauline Lucca , born in 1842 , a student of Giacomo Meyerbeer .

To prepare, raw, chopped beef fillet, egg yolks , onions , salt , pepper and Worcestershire sauce are prepared with tartare, put on a slice of toasted bread, supplemented with a de-boned oyster and garnished with caviar so that the breads look like eyes.
