Lucette Moreau

Lucette Moreau (born January 17, 1956 in Pointe-des-Cascades , Vaudreuil-Soulanges ) is a former Canadian shot putter and discus thrower .

In 1975 she won bronze in the shot put at the Pan American Games in Mexico City and came fourth in the discus throw.

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, she came in 13th place in both places.

In 1977 she finished fourth in both disciplines at the World Cup in Athletics in Düsseldorf . The following year she won bronze in the discus throw at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton in 1978 and was ninth in the shot put. In 1979 she was fifth in discus throw and sixth in shot put at the Pan American Games in San Juan .

Canada's Olympic boycott prevented participation in the 1980 Olympic Games . At the alternate Liberty Bell Classic , she was second in the discus throw.

In 1976 she became Canadian champion in the shot put, in 1976 and 1980 in discus throw.
