Lucija Polavder (born December 15, 1984 in Griže near Žalec ) is a Slovenian judoka .

Polavder took part in the 2004 Summer Olympics, where they did not get past the first round. At the 2008 Olympics , she reached the semifinals, where she was defeated by the Japanese Maki Tsukada . In the battle for the bronze medal, she defeated the Korean Kim Na-Young and became the second Slovenian judoka after Urška Žolnir in 2004 to win a medal at the Olympic Games.

More Achievements

She won silver at the 2007 World Championships and the 2012 European Championships. At the European Championships in 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2011 she won the bronze medal. In 2010, also at the European Championships , she won gold. Until 2012 she won 13 Slovenian national championships, in 2007 she won the title at the World Military Games.
