Lucius Cornelius Lentulus was a Roman senator , politician, and military officer.
Lucius Cornelius Lentulus belonged to the Lentuli branch of the Cornelier family . He is known as the bearer of the news of victory from the Battle of Pydna , where the Romans defeated the Macedonians and thus finally achieved supremacy in Greece.
