Luděk Mikloško (born December 9, 1961 in Prostějov ) is a former Czech football player and current goalkeeping coach.
The 1.91 m tall goalkeeper played in his youth for Němčice nad Hanou, Železárny Prostějov and Baník Ostrava . From 1980 to 1982 he did his military service with RH Cheb , then he returned to Ostrava and stayed there until 1990. On October 27, 1982 he made his international debut against Denmark in Copenhagen . In 1990 he moved to West Ham United and played 365 competitive games for the London club. In October 1998 he went to the city rivals Queens Park Rangers in the second division, before he ended his career at the end of the 2000/01 season with almost 40 years. From July 2001 to March 2010 he was the goalkeeping coach at West Ham United.
Mikloško played a total of 42 times for the Czechoslovak and Czech national teams , twice he was team captain. He took part in the 1990 World Cup in Italy, but was only number two behind Jan Stejskal . He said goodbye on April 2, 1997 when the Czech Republic lost 2-1 to Yugoslavia in Prague .
