Ludeke Nyestadt († before 1427) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck .

Life

The merchant Ludeke Nyestadt belonged to the corporation of dressmakers in Lübeck. During the civil unrest at the beginning of the 15th century, he became a member of the citizens' committee of the 1960s. After the old council was expelled from the city (1408), he was a member of the new council in 1411 and 1412. In Lübeck citizens' wills he is listed several times as a documentary witness and guardian . In 1412 he was head of the St. Jürgen Chapel . In 1418 he sold an agricultural property in Paddelügge to his son. He lived in the house at Sandstrasse 20 in Lübeck. His great-grandson Johann Nyestadt also became a councilor in Lübeck.
