Ludmilla Martinkovics

Ludmilla Martinkovics (born October 31, 1935 in Dörfl as Ludmilla Faymann ) is a former Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and state secretary of the women's movement. From 1988 to 1991 she was a member of the Burgenland Landtag.

Martinkovics attended elementary school in Dörfl and secondary school in Steinberg before completing home economics school and one year of nursing school in Vienna. She then worked as a nurse for two years and then worked in the family restaurant. Martinkovics became local director of the Austrian Women's Movement (ÖFB) in Dörfl in 1969 and rose to become district director in 1979. In addition, she worked from 1985 as the ÖFB state secretary and was a member of the ÖFB federal management. In addition, she was active as a local councilor in Steinberg-Dörfl from 1982 to 1987, and in 1989 she took over the role of deputy regional director of the ÖFB. Martinkovics was sworn in as a member of the Burgenland Landtag on February 8, 1988, but resigned from the ÖVP on June 18, 1991 and resigned from all functions. She left the state parliament on July 18, 1991.

Martinkovics was elected chairwoman of the Dörfl music association on February 16, 1991 and held this position until April 1, 2000. After retiring from this position, she was elected honorary chairwoman of the music association.
