Aldo Gandini

Aldo Gandini (born November 15, 1928 in Parma ; † April 27, 2007 there ) was an Italian cyclist .

At the UCI track world championships in 1949 in Ordrup near Copenhagen , Aldo Gandini was third in the single pursuit of the amateurs , and vice-world champion the following year . From 1952 to 1959 he was a professional racing driver, but without achieving major successes.

In his honor, the Piccola Freccia delle Valli Parmensi - Memorial Aldo Gandini race is held in Parma .

Aldo Gandini was the older brother of the track cyclist Franco Gandini .
