Ludwig Egler

Ludwig Egler (born August 24, 1828 in Hechingen ; † August 2, 1898 there ) was a German writer and Swabian dialect poet.

In addition to his trade - he was a soap boiler - Egler was also active as a writer, especially in the field of regional studies of Hohenzollern . For a few years he also edited the Hohenzollern sheets .

A street in Hechingen is named after him.
