Ludwig Friday
Ludwig Freitag (* 1888 ; † 1973 in Oberhausen ) was a German architect and construction clerk .
Life
Ludwig Freitag came to Oberhausen at the beginning of the 20th century as an employee of Friedrich Pützer , and around 1920 he was appointed city architect there. In the following years he realized numerous public buildings that shape the cityscape in the style of Rhenish Brick Expressionism and classical modernism.
The construction of the town hall also gained an international reputation on Friday due to its integration into an urban park landscape.
