Ludwig Heinrich Mollwo
Ludwig Heinrich Mollwo , also Ludewig Henrich Mollwo (* 1725 in Lübeck ; † August 9, 1782 ibid) was councilor of the Hanseatic city of Lübeck.
Life
Mollwo was the son of the Lübeck merchant Jakob Martin Mollwo († 1750), who was married to a daughter of the Lübeck councilor Heinrich Woldt . Grandfather Ludwig Mollwo († 1697) had come to Lübeck from Reims and Germanized the French name Molveau .
Mollwo learned the trade of a merchant in Riga and Königsberg and returned to his hometown in 1750. That year he took over the trading business from his late father. In 1766 he became a senior man of the Schonenfahrer in Lübeck and in 1778 he was elected from their ranks to the Lübeck Council.
Mollwo wasn't married. The rector of the Katharineum in Lübeck, Friedrich Daniel Behn , wrote his corpse note .
