Ludwig Keimer
Ludwig Keimer (born August 23, 1892 in Blumenthal near Schleiden , † August 16, 1957 in Cairo ) was a German Egyptologist .
Life
He studied Egyptology in Berlin between 1917 and 1921 . In 1930 he applied for a habilitation at the German University in Prague . In 1938 he received the official, ministerial confirmation of the Venia legendi for the subject Egyptology. The basis of the current holdings of the library of the DAI Cairo is its collection.
