Ludwig Roman Fleischer

Ludwig Roman Fleischer (born September 17, 1952 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .

Life

In addition to studying English and philosophy, he worked as a telephone operator, photo lab technician, night watchman, driver, bank clerk and childcare worker. His teaching activity at a secondary school in Vienna lasted from 1977 to 2012; Between 1979 and 1982 he was a university assistant in Vienna (Institute for American Studies). In the 1980s he worked as a small publisher, from 1998 to 2004 as head of a writing workshop for patients in drug therapy. Occasionally he also works as a moderator of literary events and as a lecturer. He lives in Vienna and Feld am See, Carinthia. Fleischer is married and has one grown son.

Work description

As a fictional chronicler, Ludwig Roman Fleischer has been writing a novel every year since 1990, which is either dedicated to a specific professional genre, a bizarre and over-the-top anniversary or the crisis of an art genre. When read one after the other, the novels produce a dense moral picture of Austrian provenance, whereby the prognostic madness of the events presented turns out to be pure reality.
