Ludwig Wörner (born May 31, 1948 in Zwiesel ) is a Bavarian politician ( SPD ).

After finishing elementary school in 1962, he first completed an apprenticeship as a retail salesman. He then worked for a pharmaceutical company in Munich before serving as a paramedic in the Bundeswehr .
From 1971 Wörner worked as a tram and bus driver in shifts at Stadtwerke München , where he was elected to the staff council and represented around 9500 employees as chairman of the general staff council.
