Ludwig "Lutta" Waidacher senior (born August 16, 1928 in Arosa ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player .

life and career

Ludwig Waidacher, who grew up in Arosa , went through his junior career at EHC Arosa . From 1944 he played for many years together with Werner Lohrer as a defender in the legendary first team for the Arosa Sturm with Hans-Martin Trepp , as well as Gebi and Ueli Poltera . With this ensemble he was Swiss champion five times in a row from 1951 to 1955.

After completing his active sports career in 1955, he successfully set up his own building technology company in Arosa. In addition, he was a member of the local council for the FDP and was involved in various functions for his parent club.

Ludwig Waidacher still lives in Arosa today. He is the father of Ludwig Waidacher junior and the grandfather of Monika , Nina and Isabel Waidacher .
