Gebhard "Gebi" Poltera (born December 14, 1923 in Arosa ; † November 11, 2008 there ) was a Swiss ice hockey player . His brother Ulrich Poltera and his cousin Hans-Martin Trepp were also Swiss national players.
Career
Gebhard Poltera took part for the Swiss national team in the Winter Olympics in St. Moritz in 1948 and in Oslo in 1952 . At the 1948 Winter Games, he and his team won the bronze medal. He was also in his country's squad at the World Championships in 1950 and 1951 , where he also won the bronze medal. As the best European team, Switzerland became European champions in 1950. At club level, he played for EHC Arosa .
