Ludwig Zahn

Ludwig Zahn (born February 9, 1903 in Munich ; † July 9, 1976 there ) was a German cameraman .

Live and act

After graduating from secondary school in 1918, Zahn began working as a recording surgeon in Munich. In the early 1930s he became chief cameraman and shot several productions by Carl Lamac in the years that followed . He was also involved in the tendentious subjects of Ludwig Schmid-Wildy's raiding party in 1917 and Um den Menschenrecht .

In 1935 he filmed in Austria and at the end of the year in Spain, where he was surprised by the outbreak of civil war. In later years he worked mainly as a documentary filmmaker for the production company Arnold & Richter.
