Richard Kiliani

Richard Kiliani (* 1861 ; † 1927 ) was a German lawyer, diplomat and author.

Life

Kiliani studied in Munich. During his studies he became a member of the AGV Munich in the special houses association . In 1887 he joined the Foreign Office . In 1888 he was assigned to the Prussian legation in Hamburg, 1889–92 consul in Kowno , 1893 in Basel , 1895 in Bucharest , in 1905 consul general in Singapore and from 1911 to 1914 in Sydney . In November 1914 he was transferred into temporary retirement, but in AA continue to be employed as acting as head of press control in the Central Office for Foreign Service. In 1920/21 he worked as consul general in Amsterdam , until 1924 he was in charge of the passport office in Salzburg .
