Ludwig von Uslar (pharmacist)

Wilhelm Ludwig Julius Dietrich von Uslar (born June 3, 1828 in Lautenthal am Harz, † April 14, 1894 in Göttingen ) was a German chemist and pharmacist.

He studied in Göttingen, received his doctorate there in 1855 and then worked for several years as assistant to Friedrich Wöhler and in the chemical institute there. In 1857 he qualified as a private lecturer and in 1864 became professor of pharmaceutical chemistry and in 1867 a member of the pharmaceutical examination board. He also served as a court chemist for the Kingdom of Hanover for a number of years.

Ludwig von Uslar was a member of the Society of German Natural Scientists and Doctors .
