Ludwik Michał Pac
Ludwik Michał Pac (born May 19, 1778, presumably in Strasbourg , France , † August 6, 1835 in Smyrna , Ottoman Empire ) was a Polish Général de division in the Napoleonic Army (1808-1814) in which he served as the commander of a Polish cavalry unit . His parents were Michał Józef Pac and Ludwika Tyzenhaus; he came from the Polish-Lithuanian noble family Pac .
As a child he went to school in France and England and later studied at Vilnius University .
He later became a senator in Congress Poland and became a member of an influential family in Russian Poland. He took part in the November Uprising and was wounded in the Battle of Ostrołęka in May 1831. After the suppression of the uprising, he returned to France.
