Airy
Lufsig is a cuddly toy - wolf from the Swedish furniture store IKEA . He wears blue trousers with suspenders , a red and white checked shirt and is made of 100% polyester . The design comes from the designer Ulrike Leffler and it is based on the wolf from the fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood .
In December 2013, Lufsig became a symbol of political protest in Hong Kong . On December 8th, a member of the League of Social Democrats pelted Hong Kong Prime Minister Leung Chun-ying with a stuffed wolf. Leung Chun-ying is often called "Wolf", but the Swedish name "Lufsig" is similar to an obscene abuse in Cantonese . The incident helped the stuffed wolf to become suddenly popular, and it was sold out in Hong Kong on Tuesday. In addition, Lufsig became a symbol of government opponents on Facebook .
