Lui Che Woo ( Chinese  呂志 和 , Pinyin Lǚ Zhìhé ; born August 9, 1929 in Jiangmen ) is a Chinese entrepreneur .

Life

Lui heads the Chinese company K. Wah Group . Subsidiaries include Wah International Holdings Ltd. , Galaxy Entertainment Group Limited , Stanford Hotels International Limited, and K. Wah Construction Materials Limited . According to the US Forbes Magazine , Lui is one of the richest Chinese in 2013 and is listed in The World's Billionaires . Lui is married with five children and lives in Hong Kong .

He is the founder of the Lui Che Woo Prize named after him , which is awarded annually in the three categories of " Sustainability ", "Improving the wellbeing of the world" and "Spreading positive energy". The prize is endowed with 2.2 million euros.
