Luigi Bossi

Luigi Bossi , (born February 28, 1758 in Milan , † April 10, 1835 ibid) was an Italian archivist , historian and writer .

Bossi studied law and natural sciences, and during the Cisalpine Republic he was employed by Bonaparte as an agent of the French government in Turin.

After the unification of Piedmont with France in 1803, he rose to the position of Prefect of the Archives of the Kingdom of Italy.
