Luigi Colazza

Luigi Colazza ( 1868 in Rome - 1927 in Trieste ) was an Italian opera singer ( tenor ).

Life

Colazza made his debut in Rome in 1892. In 1897 he was at the Italian Opera in Holland, where he sang “Alvaro” in La forza del destino . In Bergamo in 1899 and at the Teatro Regio in Parma in 1901 he sang Andrea Chénier . For the next twenty years he worked on the great Italian provincial theaters. He was also a professor at the Trieste Conservatory.
