Luigi Vanzi

Luigi Vanzi (other names: Roy Ferguson , Vance Lewis , Gigi Vanzi ) is an Italian film director. He is best known for his spaghetti westerns starring Tony Anthony . He also worked as an assistant director in films such as Der Schrei ( Il grido ) and Die Freundinnen ( Le amiche ) by Michelangelo Antonioni .

Spaghetti westerns

Luigi Vanzi made his breakthrough with his low-budget spaghetti western One Dollar Between the Teeth with Tony Anthony and Frank Wolff , whose design is reminiscent of the Sergio Leone films For a Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More . After the success of his first spaghetti western, he filmed another western western Jack with Tony Anthony in the same year . At the end of his unofficial Western trilogy, he filmed the samurai- Italian Western mix The Terror of Kung Fu, also starring Tony Anthony.
