Life

After starting out in the USA, he preferred to devote himself to the Spaghetti Western . These were mostly collaborations with producers Allen Klein and Saul Swimmer .

His most successful contribution is the film Blindman, the Executor by Ferdinando Baldi , in which he plays a blind gunslinger. When filming the film in the Almería area , he always had to wear contact lenses to emphasize the blindness of his role . He still suffers from the resulting consequences due to the strong, sandy winds there.

Another character that Anthony "invented" was that of "Stranger", whom he played in several films. This extremely silent, laconic figure worked precisely because of the stoicism it radiated.

In the 80s , Anthony tried several films (again directed by Baldi) to revive 3D film . He developed a new type of 3D lens that is used today, among other things, in hospitals for difficult interventions. Still, he had little success with his 3D films.

Towards the end of his career in the film business, he only worked as a producer. So he was u. a. 1990 involved in the production of wild orchids .
