Pharma Vision

The Pharma Vision AG (temporarily Pharma Vision 2000 AG , ZKB Pharma Vision AG , Rentura AG ) was a holding company based in Glarus and later Zurich , mainly in the 1990s under Martin Ebner appeared on the scene. The purpose of the company was to invest in companies in the pharmaceutical sector . The company was at the SWX listed .

Pharma Vision was founded in 1988. In 1991 Martin Ebner and Christoph Blocher took control of the company. First Blocher was Chairman of the Board of Directors, then Ebner from mid-1998. The company invested mainly in Roche stocks. The success fees of the members of the Board of Directors in the millions caused a sensation, a phenomenon that was largely unknown in Switzerland. In 1997 Blocher sold his stake (17% of the voting rights) to Ebner's BZ group . Three years later the company was renamed Pharma Vision AG .

After Ebner's investment strategy failed, the company had to be sold to Zürcher Kantonalbank in 2002 . This moved the headquarters of Pharma Vision to Zurich and renamed it ZKB Pharma Vision AG . In 2004, Zürcher Kantonalbank submitted an offer to the remaining Pharma Vision shareholders to exchange the shares for shares in a ZKB fund . At the beginning of 2005, Pharma Vision was renamed Rentura AG . At the end of 2006 the company was dissolved by resolution of the general assembly. In March 2008 the liquidation was completed and the company was deleted from the commercial register.
