Luigi d'Aragona

Luigi d'Aragona (born September 7, 1474 in Naples , † January 21, 1519 in Rome ) was a cardinal of the Catholic Church and nephew of Ferdinand I of Naples .

Life

After Pope Alexander VI. d'Aragona had elevated to cardinal in pectore in May 1494 , he published his name on February 19, 1496 and made him cardinal deacon of the titular church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin in March . From September 26, 1508 to May 25, 1517 was also the owner of the titular church of Santa Maria in Aquiro .

  • Bishop of Alessano , Italy (May 18, 1517 to May 17, 1518)
  • Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Nardò , Italy (June 17, 1517)
