Luis Antonio Peñaherrera

Luis Antonio Peñaherrera Mantilla (* 1894 in Quito ; † unknown) was an Ecuadorian diplomat .

Luis Antonio Peñaherrera Mantilla began his diplomatic career in the early 1920s as First Legation Secretary of the Ecuadorian Legation in Paris. 1951/1952 was the Ecuadorian ambassador in Washington.

From August 13, 1953 to November 28, 1955, Luis Antonio Peñaherrera Mantilla was Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador in the government of José María Velasco Ibarra . 1956/1957 was the Ecuadorian ambassador in London. From 1969 to 1973 he represented the Republic of Ecuador as ambassador to the Holy See .
