Luis Felipe Contardo

Luis Felipe Contardo (* 1880 in Molina (Chile) , † 1922 in Chillán ) was a Catholic priest and poet of religious poetry.

Life

Luis Felipe Contardo studied theology at the Pontifical Gregorian University until 1902. He traveled Europe and the Middle East, received the ordination and lecturer was the seminary of Concepcion . In 1917 he became pastor in Chillán, later diocesan administrator in the province of Ñuble . Today his most important poems are still regularly published in anthologies.
