Luisa Fiedler

Luisa Fiedler (born April 4, 1952 in Trient / Italy ) is a Hamburg politician of the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

Life

Luisa Fiedler studied language and political science after graduating from high school. She also took an additional course in intercultural education and multilingualism. She works as a teacher for German , society and philosophy at the Wilhelmsburg district school .

politics

Fiedler has been a member of the SPD since 1976. Since 1999 she has chaired the Migration Working Group in the SPD's state executive committee .

She was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 2000 to 2008. Most recently she represented the SPD in the culture committee and in the school committee. She was also a member of the “School Development” commission of inquiry. Her political focus is on education and cultural policy.
