Luise Greuel

Luise Greuel (born before 1967) is a German psychologist and has been the rector of the Bremen University of Public Administration (HfÖV) since 2009 . Greuels research focus is legal psychology .

Life

From 1979 to 1985 Luise Greuel studied psychology at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and graduated with a diploma . From 1986 to 1993 she worked first as a research assistant and then as an assistant at the University of Bonn. Among other things, she was involved in the development and implementation of the curriculum for legal psychology in the psychology course. Since 1986 she has worked as a forensic-psychological expert before various courts. Among other things, she worked as an expert in the Kachelmann trial (2010/2011). In 1992 Greuel did his doctorate at the University of Bonn on the subject of police interrogation of raped women . In 1994/1995 she was a substitute professor for clinical and forensic psychology at the University of Hanover . From 1995 to 2000 she worked as a research assistant at the University of Bremen . During this time, Luise Greuel was the project manager of the DFG model project for legal psychology as an application subject in the diploma course in psychology and dealt with course development and implementation. In 1997 she was certified as a polygraphic expert at the Virginia School of Polygraph . From 2000 to 2002 she worked as a lecturer at the University of Bremen and completed her habilitation on the subject of reality - memory - statement . In 2002 she was appointed professor at the Bremen University of Public Administration. There she dealt, among other things, with project management, restructuring of police training ( Bachelor ) and the introduction of the Bachelor’s degree in Risk and Security Management (RSM). From 2002 to 2009 she was the head of the Institute for Police and Security Research (IPoS) and from 2004 to 2005 she was a reviewer for the German Psychological Academy in the certification process for recognition as a specialist psychologist for forensic psychology. In 2009 she became the rector of the Bremen University of Public Administration.
