Luise Reinhardt

Luise Reinhardt , pseudonym Ernst Fritze , birth name Luise Ditfurth (born May 31, 1807 in Magdeburg , † October 24, 1878 in Merseburg ) was a German writer of the 19th century.

Life

Her father, Johann Friedrich Karl Ditfurth, was the rector of the municipal secondary school for girls , where Luise passed her Abitur. Years later , she married the judicial assessor Reinhardt in Stendal , who later served as a city and district judge in Magdeburg.

She made her debut in 1846 under the pseudonym Ernst Fritze with the youth novel Die Wollenweber von Stendal in 1530 , which had several editions and was translated into Dutch. In addition to historical and detective novels , she wrote novels and short stories .
