Lukáš Veltšmíd (born November 26, 1992 ) is a Czech floorball player on the position of defender, who is under contract with the National League A club UHC Alligator Malans .
Career
society
1. SC Vítkovice
Veltšmíd began his career in 2005 at the age of 13 with the Czech club Vítkovice. Until 2010 he played in the junior division of the Czech club. In 2010 he was appointed to the first-team squad for the first time and was integrated into the first-team squad for the 2011/12 season. After the end of the 2014/15 season, the name Veltšmíd was on the transfer list of the Czech association.
UHC alligator malans
The UHC Alligator Malans announced the transfer of the Czech national player in March 2015. He was first noticed by Thomas Hitz, the sports director of UHC Alligator Malans at the U19 World Cup 2011 in Weissenfels .
On July 23, 2015 the International arrived in Grüsch and started summer training with the UHC Alligator Malans. In his first season, the Czech scored eight goals in 26 games and put on six more goals. In 2016/17 he was able to increase his yield.
Sports director Thomas Hitz announced on March 10, 2017 that the contract with the defensive player would be extended by one year with an option for another. On May 11, 2018, the association announced that Lukáš Veltšmíd's contract, which was running out, had been extended by two years.
National team
Veltšmíd made his debut in 2010 for the Czech U19 floorball team. With her he took part in the 2011 World Championships in Weissenfels. It was also his last appearance for the U19 national team as he has now become too old.
After strong performances in the Czech league, he was called up by the national coach in 2013 for two test matches against the Swiss national team. In the first game he was goalless. He made his first goal in the long game in the 8th minute on a pass from Lukáš Hrubý. His achievements did not go unnoticed. Since then has been part of the Czech senior team. With her took part in the World Championships in 2014 and 2016.
