Luka Juhart (* 1982 in Yugoslavia , now Slovenia ) is a Slovenian musician.

In 1995 he began his musical training with Andrej Lorber at the music high school in Maribor , where he graduated from high school in 2001. From 2001 to 2006 he studied in the accordion class of Hugo Noth at the Trossingen University of Music . There he obtained two degrees: one as a qualified music teacher (2005) and one in artistic training (2006). Since then he has been studying in Stefan Hussong's master class at the University of Music in Würzburg . He attended master classes and workshops with Margit Kern , Ivan Koval , Tomaž Lorenz and Christoph Bossert, among others .

Luka Juhart has won several national and international competitions. In 2001 he received the Dr. Roman Klasinc Prize for outstanding artistic achievements. He also won the DAAD Prize (2002) and the Iris Marquardt Prize (2003).

As a musician he is touring as a soloist and chamber musician in Denmark , Germany , France , Italy , Croatia , Austria , Sweden , Slovenia and Switzerland . He often plays recordings for the radio (including RTV Ljubljana , RTV Maribor and ORF ). At the moment he is busy with new music . He often works with composers and performs their works, for example compositions by Uroš Rojko , Klaus Huber , Vinko Globokar and Stefan Beyer .
