Lukas Dhont

Lukas Dhont (* 1991 ) is a Belgian director and screenwriter .

Life

Lukas Dhont was born in 1991. His first feature film, Girl , was awarded Un Certain Regard at the Cannes Film Festival in spring 2018, and the film also received the Golden Camera and the Queer Palm . In December, Girl was named Best First Feature at the European Film Awards.

Dhont lives in Ghent.
