Lukas Enembe (* as Lomato Enembe ; July 27, 1967 in Mamit , Tolikara Regency , Papua Province ) is an Indonesian politician of the Democratic Party (PD).

Life

Lukas Enembe attended the SD-YPPGI school in Mamit until 1980, then the SMPN-1 middle school in Jayapura until 1983 and the SMAN-3 high school there until 1986. In 1995 he received a Bachelor of Social and Political Science from Sam Ratulangi University in Manado , Sulawesi .

He is married and has three children.

politics

From 2003 to 2006 he was on the board of the Christian Partai Damai Sejahtera (PDS), since 2006 he has been chairman of the Democratic Party in Papua.

From 2001 to 2005 he was Deputy Regent of the Puncak Jaya Regency , and from 2007 to 2012 he was Regent of the Regency. In 2013 he was the first Papuan from the West Papuan highlands to be elected governor of the Papua Province with 52 percent of the valid votes; in 2018 he was re-elected with 67.54 percent of the valid votes.
