Lukas Kiefer (born April 25, 1993 in Boeblingen ) is a German football player .
Career
In the club
In 2004, Kiefer moved from GSV Maichingen to VfB Stuttgart . In the 2008/09 season Lukas Kiefer was the Stuttgart German B youth champion with the U-17 . He played the 2011/12 U-19 season as the captain of VfB's A youth team.
Lukas Kiefer made his professional debut on August 25, 2012 on the 6th match day of the 2012/13 season for the second team of VfB Stuttgart in a 3-0 away win in the 3rd division against SpVgg Unterhaching and scored the last goal of the game. After the 2013/14 season, Kiefer's expiring contract with VfB was not extended. He then moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken . In 2015, Kiefer missed promotion to the third division with the club in relegation . After two years he left the FCS for SV Waldhof Mannheim free of charge and signed a contract there until 2018. At the end of January 2018, his contract was terminated and Kiefer moved back to his former place of work VfB Stuttgart II.
For the 2020/21 season, Kiefer moved to SSV Ulm 1846 .
National team
Lukas Kiefer made his debut for the German U-16 national team on October 16, 2008 against Finland. Kiefer had two more U-16 internationals against Estonia and Tunisia by the end of the year.
