Lukas Steltner

Lukas Steltner (born July 14, 1987 in Rostock ) is a German actor and dancer.

Life

Lukas Steltner grew up in Rostock, where he discovered hip-hop culture at the age of 14 and started breaking (breakdancing / BBoying).

As a layman, he was invited to the casting for the movie " For the Unknown Dog " (D: Dominik & Benjamin Reding), in which he finally played the leading role. The film was released in 2007. This was followed by other roles in several films, including " Die Kriegerin " (2010, D: David Wnendt), " Abgebrannt " (2010, D: Verena S. Freytag), " Stadt Land Fluss " (2011, D: Benjamin Cantu, premiere at the Berlinale, Section 14+), " Continuity " (2012, D: Omer Fast), " Dessau Dancers " (2013, D: Jan Martin Scharf). Lukas Steltner also took on episode roles in various television formats. These included " Kommissar Stolberg ", " Der Kriminalist ", " SOKO Cologne ", " Last Trace Berlin ", " SOKO Leipzig ", " In All Friendship ".

Lukas Steltner also works as a dancer. In addition to breakdancing / BBoying, he experiments with various movement concepts, for example from popping and contemporary dance. He is active on different stages, for example in pieces by Heike Hennig - "Crystal - Variations on Rausch" (2014, Theater der Junge Welt, Leipzig), "Bräute" (2016, Theater der Junge Welt), under Johann Kresnik in " The 120 Days of Sodom "(2015, Volksbühne) or in Adrian Figueroas" STRESS "(2017, HAU Hebbel am Ufer). As a choreographer, he worked with Joy Alpuerto Ritter on the play "Teenage Resistance" (2018, Theater der Junge Welt). With his crew "The Topp Doggz", Steltner also appears on various variety stages.

Lukas Steltner lives in Berlin.
