Lukas Wagner (* 1993 in Dornbirn ) is an Austrian slam poet , author and cultural organizer.
Life
Wagner has appeared as a slam poet in Germany, Austria and Switzerland since he was at school. In 2015 he wrote the song Tanz mit mir for the Austrian pop band Lucky Strikes Back , which reached number 22 in the Austrian charts . He later also worked as a songwriter for the Austrian pop musician Monthaye . Since 2015 Wagner has organized (so far more than 100) literary and cultural events in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein . In 2016, together with the Salzburger Nachrichten, he carried out the longest poetry slam in the world to date : 16 participating artists presented more than 150 texts in 28 hours. In the same year, a poetry slam was held under the title " Jederkann " as part of the Salzburg Festival in the interior of the Mönchsberg . Wagner also created formats such as the "shadow battle", in which slam poets can only be seen as silhouettes. Wagner has been curating the Lech Literature Days since 2017 . He lives in Salzburg .
